boy, John has had a busy week being celebrated and we are very thankful for him! Sunday was fathers day and yesterday was his birthday! :) We'll continue the celebration this weekend as we go out to dinner and spend friday and saturday together!
Speaking of friday - i'm so excited - the three of us are headed to the shore to visit with Jay, Janice and Ella! I'm so thrilled to take Asher to the beach and see his reaction to the sand and ocean. I LOVE the beach and we didn't get there last year b/c of being far too pregnant and ready to give birth at any given moment.. So, i'm looking forward to some beach time this summer!
VBS starts on Sunday and I have a mission trip in 2 weeks - so things are feeling a little chaotic... I think I'm ready for august!

What a beautiful family! Congratulations on the new baby- very exciting and very terrifying at the same time! I know I can't wait to meet my new little one and yet the thought of having two little ones is overwhelming. It's all in God's plan, though, and it will work out in the end.
