John and I spent Saturday with friends Matt and Melanie and their two kids, Jacob (3.5) and Aubrey (1.5). We had lunch is a sweet little town called Frederick and then drove to Harpers Ferry West Virginia - which is a lovely spot!!! It's an old town that was very invovled in the Civil War. Lots of history - down in the valley w/ mountians all around it and a river that we walked along! It was a really great time! Again - we took pics - but I have to get them from John - then i'll put some up!! It was fun catching up with Matt and Melanie!! John and Matt spent most of the day (i think) talking about metal detectors - John knew interest!
Sunday was busy at church!! then off to lunch w/ my mom and then dinner w/ John's mom. I have eaten way too much food this weekend - which has included loads of ice-cream!! Yummy!!
